Description
TERROIR
Exclusively from the olive trees of our terroir, in a preserved natural biotope, free from all fertilizers or pesticides for 60 years.
PRODUCTION
The olive oil is produced with the teams of Domaine de Leos and the advice of Christine Cheylan. Harvested in early October, the olives are picked during the day and transported the same day to the mill where ‘trituration’ and bottling are carried out.
OLIVE VARIETIES
Predominantly Aglandau.
TASTING NOTES
Intense taste with great aromatic power and a beautiful length on the palate. The oil is characterized by the unique vegetal and herbaceous freshness of its ‘green fruitiness,’ subtly spiced, supported by a slight bitterness and controlled pungency.
GASTRONOMIC PAIRINGS
Although ‘green fruity’ oils can be used both raw and cooked with all types of savory and sweet dishes, we recommend prioritizing raw uses as a finishing oil on all types of foods and dishes, from appetizer to dessert.
Since its launch in 2017, H DE LEOS L’ORIGINELLE oil has received 34 international awards or recognitions, including 14 gold medals.
