CHARACTERISTICS

This artisanal, cauldron-cooked jam is distinguished by its high apricot content and the unique and singular taste of its successful pairing with lavender from DOMAINE DE LEOS.

GASTRONOMIC PAIRINGS

A spread to enjoy with or without butter, for breakfast on fresh country bread. Also try it on toasted bread; you will find it delicious! It can also be consumed as a snack or during a meal with cheese, or even as a dessert ingredient or topping in cakes or tarts, or on crepes, pancakes, brioche, and French toast.

PRODUCTION

Provence apricots, white cane sugar, lavender. Prepared with 70% fruit (70g per 100g of jam), well above the legal minimum required for an “extra” jam (more than 45%). Under the supervision of the DOMAINE DE LEOS teams, the jam is manufactured and jarred in Robion, a few minutes from the farm, by La Roumanière (a social and solidarity economy enterprise).

TERROIR / HARVEST

Jam made from a selection of Provence apricots of high gustatory quality and lavender from DOMAINE DE LEOS. Certified “High Environmental Value 3A” and in organic conversion, the farm uses neither chemical fertilizers nor pesticides.

STORAGE

Developed without preservatives or colorants, C de Leos jams are pasteurized, giving them a shelf life of 3 years. To maintain all their properties before opening, we advise storing them in a dry place, away from heat and UV radiation. After opening, the jam generally keeps for 2 to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
