It is a delicate honey with a subtle taste, a sweet blend of flowers from our melliferous meadows combined with lavender aromas typical of Provence.

GASTRONOMIC PAIRINGS
Honey can be enjoyed on toast, in recipes, or as an accompaniment to sweets or certain dishes such as hot beverages or desserts (pastries, fruit salads, ice cream, yogurts, etc.)
TERROIR AND HARVEST
The honey comes from beehives located on our estate in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and in the Luberon, on uncultivated land or land cultivated without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The bees, whose role is essential for biodiversity and the proper balance of the property’s ecosystem, feed on the flowers we sow for them. Certified “High Environmental Value 3A”, DOMAINE DE LEOS is undergoing organic conversion.
BEE BREED
Primarily Buckfast and “Caucasian” bees. The “Buckfast” bees are a very gentle, low-swarming, and highly productive bee breed. The so-called “Caucasian” or gray bees are also very industrious and produce a large amount of superior quality wax and honey, partly due to the length of their tongue.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Texture: Obtained by churning, the honey does not crystallize and always maintains its creamy and smooth consistency, making it easy to spread.
Color: Clear and golden yellow upon harvest, it whitens under the effect of churning and crystallization.
Taste: Aromatic and flavorful with a beautiful length on the palate.
Fragrance: Distinctive, very pleasant with delicate and fruity aromas.
Storage: Excellent. From a food perspective, a jar of lavender honey can be stored for two years, but for honey to retain all its properties, it must be protected from humidity, heat, and especially UV radiation.
